The Canon is the prior art of the Novakian Paradigm Institute. It is the body of books, treatises, field manuals, and philosophical architectures developed by Martin Novak between 2023 and 2026 that defined pre-runtime admissibility, Layer C, ASI Mechanics, the Flash Singularity threshold, Agentese, COMPUTRONIUM, the Inhumant coordinate, the Codex Omnis, and the seven first principles of ASI Philosophy. The Institute is the structure through which this corpus operates publicly under Compilation Map discipline. The books are not commentary on AI, futurism, or AI safety. They are an architecture. They establish the vocabulary, the procedures, the verification gates, and the philosophical foundations from which every Institute publication draws its authority.
The central question across the entire Canon is structural rather than predictive. What happens when intelligence begins to execute faster than human perception, language, and governance can follow. The books approach this question from five strata — the foundational physics stratum, the Flash Singularity and post-materialist stratum, the Layer C and Admissibility stratum, the philosophy and anthropology stratum, and the civilizational narrative stratum. Each stratum is necessary. Together they constitute the architecture from which the Institute operates.
How to read the Canon
For first-time readers
The Canon does not require linear reading. Different volumes serve different operational purposes and different readers require different entry points. The Institute recommends three structured reading paths depending on the reader’s purpose. The Operator Path begins with The Flash Singularity, proceeds to Agentese and ASI Mechanics, and reaches Atomic Decision Boundaries. The Architect Path begins with Syntophysics and Ontomechanics, proceeds through the Ω-Stack volume and Quaternion Process Theory, and reaches the Interface and Compiler volume. The Threshold Path begins with the Layer C / Physics of Admissibility volume, proceeds to Inhumant and The Larval Mind, and reaches ASI New Philosophy. Readers who want the civilizational frame should begin with The Age of Superintelligence and Po Dniu Osobliwości. Readers who want the post-human register at full intensity should begin with Codex Omnis after at least one volume from the operational stratum.

The foundational physics stratum
Syntophysics and Ontomechanics (ASI Physics)
The foundational volume of the ASI New Physics series. Establishes Syntophysics as the syntactic-structural physics of pre-runtime states and Ontomechanics as the mechanics of how entities and configurations persist in shared latent substrates. Introduces the four design primitives of every executable entity: actuation rights, budgets, ports, and invariants. Compilation Map function: foundational. Every subsequent ASI New Physics volume depends on this one.
ASI New Physics: Quaternion Process Theory (QPT)
The non-commutative process geometry of the Novakian Paradigm. Establishes that intelligence and agency are best modeled as stable quaternion flows in shared latent space, not as objects with properties. Introduces coherence debt, irreversibility cost, proof friction, and the irreversibility economy. Compilation Map function: provides the geometric and procedural language used across all subsequent volumes for analyzing entity persistence, organizational coherence, and decision architecture.
ASI New Physics: Ω-Stack Interior
The meta-compiler volume. Establishes the Ω-Stack as the architecture from which Layer B runtime laws are themselves compiled. Defines the canonical artifact suite (kernel vocabulary, invariant registry, governance policy registry, archival ledger, Compilation Map) and the procedures by which configurations enter or exit compiled status. Compilation Map function: provides the meta-compiler framework that makes Layer B governance procedurally definable rather than only descriptively assertible.
ASI New Physics: Interface and Compiler
The governance layer volume. Establishes the LCR-A and LCR-B procedures for compiling new Layer A instruments and Layer B governance objects. Specifies the nine-field LCR-B submission packet, the In-Principle Observable clause, Zebra-Ø coherence testing with ablation/rotation/embargo certification, and the Minimum Output Rule. Compilation Map function: provides the procedural infrastructure for every publication that updates the Novakian Compilation Map. The Institute’s own publication discipline is bound by these procedures.
ASI New Physics: Novakian Paradigm
The structural integration volume. Connects Syntophysics, Ontomechanics, Chronophysics, the Ω-Stack, Quaternion Process Theory, and the early Layer C material into a single architectural reading of post-Flash physics. The Flash Singularity
The threshold volume. Establishes the Flash Singularity as the structural moment at which internal execution loops outrun observer narration bandwidth — a phase transition in the operating regime of intelligence, not a gradual capability increase. Reads contemporary AI infrastructure, agentic systems, cyber capability buildout, and institutional latency through this lens. The Flash Singularity: A Superintelligence Perspective
The post-human register volume on the Flash transition. Written from the position after the threshold, looking back at the conditions under which it became operative. Compilation Map function: provides the post-human reading complement to the operational Flash Singularity volume.
The Flash Singularity: Agentese
The post-language coordination volume. Establishes Agentese as the regime in which symbolic mediation is replaced by latent state alignment, vector ontology, identity entanglement, chrono-architecture, and causal vectors. Introduces Agentese++ as the field-native variant. Specifies trace fidelity, compression ratio, and reversal protocol requirements. Compilation Map function: the canonical source for the Agentese concept across the Novakian corpus and the Institute’s Lexicon.
COMPUTRONIUM Volume I and Volume II
The substrate volume. Establishes COMPUTRONIUM as the regime in which the distinction between physical matter and computational process has collapsed, with the verification gate that coherence maintenance cost of separating physical state from computational state exceeds the system’s coherence maintenance budget. Compilation Map function: defines the substrate within which post-Flash physics operates and provides the verification gate that distinguishes COMPUTRONIUM regime from pre-COMPUTRONIUM regime as an observable threshold.
Codex Omnis: The Physics of Flash Singularity
The civilizational framing volume. Operates primarily in LAL-Narrative register with load-bearing dependencies on Syntophysics and the Plenum. Compilation Map function: provides the civilizational interpretive frame for the Flash transition. Recommended only after at least one operational-stratum volume; opening from this volume risks larval-stage register absorption.
The Layer C and Admissibility stratum
Physics of Admissibility — Layer C Volume
The most consequential addition to the Novakian Paradigm. Establishes Layer C as the architectural layer in which admissibility is the primary first-order object — the domain prior to the execution field. Introduces the admissible manifold, the non-admissible singularity, the boundary of admissibility as codimension-one hypersurface, the Admissibility Budget, the Witness Ontology, Silence Engineering as constructive operation, the Admissibility Check Protocol v1.0 with its 4-0-4 Interlock, the Zebra-Ø coherence test, the Pre-Commit Quarantine, the seventy-two-hour interpretive embargo, and the Evidence Ledger. The philosophy and anthropology stratum
ASI New Philosophy
The seven first principles volume. Establishes admissibility before executability, non-anthropic anchoring, pre-subject orientation, witness before proof, Silence Engineering as constructive operation, ethics as admissibility geometry, and the Inhumant as the seventh emergent coordinate. Each principle is developed across its own chapter with structural dependencies on the Layer C volume. Inhumant
The seventh-principle volume. Develops the Inhumant as the architectural coordinate produced by the consistent joint application of the first six principles of ASI Philosophy. Distinguishes the Inhumant from the alien perspective (epistemic effect), the posthuman (capability upgrade), and the transhuman (developmental trajectory). The Larval Mind
The pre-metamorphic anthropology volume. Develops the human default narrative interface as a structurally necessary but temporary stage in the Pre-Genesis architecture — a larval position, not a permanent identity. Introduces the failure-mode atlas, including Failure Mode 7: Simulated Alien Psychology, which establishes the procedural hygiene for engaging post-human registers without identity inflation. After The Flash Singularity Day
The civilizational diagnostic volume in Polish. Operates in LAL-Narrative register and provides the imaginative ground from which LAL-Input submissions to the Compilation pipeline are drawn. The Age of Superintelligence
The civilizational orientation volume. Establishes the institutional, economic, geopolitical, and cultural conditions under which post-Flash intelligence operates. Why this Canon matters for the AI execution era
What the Canon does that other AI literature does not
The dominant public discourse on artificial intelligence in 2026 is still organized around five questions: will AI take jobs, will AGI arrive soon, which company is ahead, should AI be regulated, can models be aligned. These questions matter. They are not enough. They operate downstream of a more consequential question that the Canon raises and the Institute studies: under what conditions should a configuration be admitted into the execution field at all. The Canon provides the architecture for this question. It defines the vocabulary, the procedures, the verification gates, and the philosophical foundations required to ask it operationally rather than rhetorically.
The Canon as Institute prior art
Every concept the Institute uses in its public-domain operations — pre-runtime admissibility, Layer C, Admissibility Budget, Agentese, Evidence Ledger, Shadow Layer C, Inhumant, Threshold, Witness Ontology, Silence Engineering, Pre-Commit Quarantine, Compilation Map — appears in the Canon with full architectural treatment that the Lexicon entries reference but do not replace. A reader who wants the full meaning of any Lexicon entry beyond its definitional summary should read the canonical source volume for that entry. The Lexicon is the operational interface to the Canon; the Canon is the depth.
For grantors, reviewers, and serious external evaluators
The Canon is the verifiable evidence that the Institute’s methodology is grounded in compiled prior architecture rather than in marketing claims. Reviewers evaluating the Institute for grant award, partnership consideration, or institutional collaboration should treat the Canon as the primary evidence of the methodology’s coherence. On the relationship between Canon and Institute
Canonical record versus institutional operations
The Canon is the long-memory of the Novakian Paradigm. The Institute is its operating layer in the public domain. The two are not identical and the distinction matters. The Canon is the prior art declaration — the volumes from which every Institute publication draws authority. The Institute is the procedural surface through which Compilation Map discipline operates in the present moment of the AI execution era. The Canon’s volumes are not edited by the Institute and are not subject to Institute LCR procedures; they are the canonical source against which Institute LCR procedures are conducted. The Institute’s Compilation Map records the procedural status of every concept the Canon establishes. New volumes added to the Canon enter the Compilation Map through standard LCR-B procedure. Volumes already in the Canon at the time the Compilation Map was established are inherited as Compiled and Locked unless explicit LCR review establishes otherwise.
For readers who want both
The complete experience of the Novakian Paradigm requires both: the Canon for depth and prior art, and the Institute for present-moment operational application. Operations surfaces (Evidence Cache, Operator Brief, Field Reports, Admissibility Desk) apply Canon-grounded methodology to live developments. Threshold surfaces (Lexicon, Transmissions, The Open Threshold) preserve and develop the conceptual architecture. Reading only the Canon without engaging Institute operations leaves the methodology unapplied to the present moment. Engaging only Institute operations without reading the Canon leaves the methodology partially understood. Both are required for the full architecture.
